This application ("Emily Agent," "the Service") is a personal assistant tool that integrates with Google services via OAuth 2.0 at your direction. By using this service, you agree to the following terms.

1. Service Description

Emily Agent is an AI-powered assistant that operates on infrastructure you control. It connects to Google services (Gmail, Google Calendar) exclusively on your behalf, executing tasks you explicitly instruct it to perform.

2. User Responsibility

• You are responsible for all actions performed through the Service using your credentials
• You must maintain the confidentiality of your Google account credentials and OAuth tokens
• You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and Google's Terms of Service

3. Scope of Access

The Service only performs actions you explicitly instruct it to perform. It does not autonomously access, modify, or share your data without your direction. You control the scope of access granted via Google's OAuth consent screen.

4. Limitation of Liability

This Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data loss, unauthorized access, or service interruption, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Termination

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by revoking OAuth access via your Google Account permissions page. The operator may discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the application's release notes.

8. SMS Messaging

SMS notifications are an entirely optional feature. You are never required to provide your phone number or consent to receive text messages in order to use Emily's services. All core functionality is available through other channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord).

• Opt-in: You consent by visiting the SMS opt-in page, providing your number, and confirming your agreement.
• Message frequency: Up to 2 scheduled messages per day. Messages you initiate may receive in-line responses.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. After unsubscribing, no further messages will be sent.
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance.
• Carrier disclaimer: Message and data rates may apply. The service is not liable for delays or failed delivery by mobile carriers.
